The Henrik Lundqvist Foundation
In January 2014, Meredith joined forces with NY Rangers Goaltender Henrik Lundqvist and his wife Therese as Founding Executive Director of the Henrik Lundqvist Foundation (HLF). In this role, Meredith developed the foundation's charitable platform, vetted and formed partnerships with non-profit organizations whose work fulfilled HLF's mission, planned domestic and international community outreach events and organized large scale fundraising events, raising and giving away hundreds of thousands of dollars in just two years. Meredith also secured corporate sponsorships, coordinated with the NY Rangers, the NHL and other key stakeholders in the sports community.
Under Meredith’s leadership, Lundqvist was recognized by the Rangers as the team’s NHL Foundation Award nominee two years in a row, as a finalist for the NHL Foundation Award at the league level and as a finalist for the 1st ever ESPN Humanitarian of the Year Award. Meredith also founded HLF’s first foundation-run program, the HLF Young Ambassadors Program, a youth civic engagement platform which encourages adolescents to give back in their own communities.
Today Meredith serves as HLF’s Senior Program Director, operating and expanding the Young Ambassadors Program.
Meredith joined YourMomCares (#ymc) Co-Founders Sharon Feldstein (Jonah Hill and Beanie Feldstein's Mom) and Patsy Noah (Adam Levine's Mom) in late 2018 as Chief Operating Officer to clarify, organize and prioritize the existing operations of #ymc and grow the organization’s overall impact. As COO, Meredith has guided YourMomCares to identify critical internal areas of focus (e.g., mission clarification, grantmaking and fundraising strategies, corporate partnerships, communications strategy, etc.) and implemented systems and processes to ensure best-in-class, high impact philanthropic work.
In her first six months as COO, Meredith more than quadrupled the grantmaking impact of YourMomCares to date, organized a social media campaign which achieved over 1.03 million engagements, conducted a communications overhaul and helped the Co-Founders raise nearly $1 million for children’s mental wellness causes.
Street Soccer USA
Meredith joined the Street Soccer USA leadership team in 2016, first as an operations consultant, then as Chief Operating Officer, initially conducting an internal audit of the national sport for social change nonprofit and recommending specific tools for successful growth and improved operational efficiencies. Overseeing programming development, services delivery, growth of the fundraising, grantmaking and communications departments, Meredith also helped SSUSA define internal roles and processes, empowering staff to succeed to their maximum potential.
Later as New York Development Director, Meredith focused specifically on improved local fundraising for SSUSA, re-organizing the regional advisory board, hosting local cultivation events and engaging local and national corporate sponsors.
